San Fransico

Reincarnation

05  /   06   /   2019

This project was originally inspired by National Geographic, the mysterious chain of organisms, each organism can be a hunter or prey, the biggest inspiration for me is snakes and porcupines, snakes are used to entangle their prey first and then It can be said to be the coldest killer in reptiles, but the porcupine is different. When it encounters the enemy, its spines stand up and shake, making a "rustling" sound. When it is urgent, it can back up and then forcefully. Pounce on enemies and insert spines into their bodies, infecting them to death. When a snake encounters a porcupine, it will subconsciously wrap its body around it, but it will definitely be caught. All the thorns of the porcupine will pierce the snake's skin, and the snake's life will end because of one greed. This is also the source of inspiration for the lamp; the winding transparent hose represents the camouflage and recklessness of the snake. The geometric block represents the defense and complaining of the porcupine as if time stands still, and all the wildness is forever sealed in this lamp.
